Creech Prairie Restoration is a 501(c)3 with a mission of restoring people, plants, and wildlife.
Through education about and experience with the tallgrass prairie we are restoring on our 88 acres in south Texas, we hope to restore hope and joy to people who need to know the ecotherapy of being a part of God’s creation.
Our mission is to continue to increase the health and diversity of the tallgrass prairie on our property, by removing invasives and cultivating native grasses and plants.
We hope to attract a diversity of wildlife to the property. We will monitor the population through citizen science projects such as iNaturalist and bird and wildlife bioblitzes. We hope to reintroduce species to the area that were once native, such as Texas horned lizards and prairie dogs.
